Our favorite tips for a restful sleep on hot summer nights!

We are all familiar with them by now - the so-called tropical nights, where the temperatures outside don't drop, and we toss and turn in bed without finding restful sleep.

To make your nights more restful again, we asked our customers for their favorite tips and summarized the top 4 for you here:

Nadja's Favorite Tip: Your Duvet Cover as a Sleeping Bag

In summer, Nadja prefers to use her cooling Tencel bedding as a sleeping bag. How does she do it? Nadja told us that she simply uses the duvet cover without an inlay, i.e., without a duvet. Just zip it up, open the zipper, and slip in. This way, you're covered evenly, the duvet doesn't slip while you sleep, and if a mosquito does manage to get into the bedroom, your toes are protected from annoying bites.

Julia's Favorite Tip: Put Bedding in the Fridge

"I've sworn by it for many years, and my nights are always restful with it, even in midsummer." - that's what Julia says about her tip. She recommends putting the bedding and/or pillowcases in the fridge or freezer for a while before going to bed and then immediately putting on the chilled bedding. Julia's extra tip: Put the bedding in a plastic bag beforehand to avoid moisture.

Daniel's Favorite Tip: Fan & Ice Bowl

Daniel revealed that his ultimate tip for hot summer nights is as follows: Every day, he sets up a fan in the bedroom, in front of which he places a bowl of ice cubes. This way, the air distributed by the fan becomes nicely cool, and the rotation circulates it well throughout the room. Important: Always position the fan so that you are not directly in the draft, because even in hot temperatures, you can catch an unpleasant cold this way.

Florentina's Favorite Tip: Seersucker Bedding

If there's one thing that shouldn't be missing from any bedroom in summer, it's seersucker bedding. Florentina agrees, as she told us that she swears by it for a good night's sleep even in summer. The crinkled structure ensures that the bedding does not lie completely against the body, thus maintaining air circulation, which creates a cooling effect.
