It all began in a corner of the northern Waldviertel, where one's gaze can wander over green meadows into the distance between poppies and rapeseed fields, and life sets its own rhythm.
1985 The former baby plush production in Eggern is converted to the manufacture of fitted sheets. Florella was born.
1987 The Eggern site becomes too small and relocates to neighboring Litschau. 75,000 fitted sheets are produced every month and launched in well-known furniture stores.
1989/90 The opening of the East creates further opportunities: Florella Design opens a new factory in Vranov nad Toplou (Slovakia).
2000 Florella Design sells its production operations and from now on focuses on the development and distribution of new products.
2001 From now on, we are a full-service provider: At the request of many customers, Florella Design expands its product range to include bed linen.
2012 We are proud of this: Florella Design receives the GOTS certificate. We cannot save the world alone, but with our products made from GOTS-certified organic cotton, we are at least taking a step in the right direction.
2013 We underline our social competence and become a member of BSCI (today Amfori). This network is committed to fair conditions throughout the entire value chain worldwide.
2014 A lot is happening online and offline: We need more space again and move into our new office building with an extra-large warehouse. At the same time, we become dropshipping partners for well-known brands.
2020 A year that will be remembered by us, as by everyone. We are delighted with our many customers who have remained loyal to us during this challenging time. October 2020: After more than two years of development, our new website at www.florella.at is online.
